Vision & Mission. Vision & Mission. Since 1947, Mandalay University College has offered Philosophy Subject. At that time Philosophy was affiliated to Psychology as a Subject. In 1964, they became separate subjects. In 1986, they stand separate Departments respectively. Philosophy Department offered both the undergraduate and post-graduate programs. The PhD programme has first been offered in 2003-2004 Academic Year. To produce high quality graduates as well as post-graduates and doctoral degree.

Vision & Mission. Vision & Mission. The University of Mandalay, our Alma Mater, is pushing at the age of 68 now. The college was first opened in 1925 as an agricultural college, and soon as an affiliated college of Yangon University, it was closed down early in 1942 for, the Second World War had spread to the East. English as a specialization subject was resumed in 1980. Daw Khin Hla Hla, and Daw Hnin Yi were with us for sometime as Assistant Lecturers. Diploma in English Language Teaching Programme.
