I don't think I was feeling droopy when I did this drawing but the leaves on this orchid sure were drooping and I loved the idea of trying to capture the petals in their final hours. We all know how this feels from time to time. Or another way of looking at the image is the leaves as they lean towards the earth are balancing the flowers/petals that reach for the sun.
