Cold World – How the Gods Chill. Since their respective release days I don’t think there has been a week that I have not listened to anyone of these albums. They are all just that good. The other albums that made the list were also listened to numerous times in 2014 are as follows. Herzog – Boys. Give – Electric Flower Circus.

This ain't no fetish!: 0072 - My First Failure - S/T LP
http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2014/08/0072-my-first-failure-st-lp.html
This ain't no fetish! Sunday, 10 August 2014. 0072 - My First Failure - S/T LP. Despite the fact that I can't take a straight picture, I think this record has a really attractive cover. The back of the sleeve contains the song titles and which side they're on, which is a nice touch. 7 Turn The Page. 50 on black with silk-screened covers (Pre-order version). 50 on clear with brown and black splatter with silk-screened covers (Euro tour press). 150 on clear with brown and black splatter (Standard press).

This ain't no fetish!: April 2014
http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
This ain't no fetish! Sunday, 27 April 2014. 0301 - 0302 - Funeral For A Friend/Boysetsfire Pick-Ups. I'm jumping ahead of my usual sequence here, as I wanted to post up the two most recent additions to my collection. I went to see Funeral For A Friend and Boysetsfire last night in Leeds, as they're two of my favourite bands. I picked up the vinyl repress of their debut EP, Between Order And Model and also their recent split 7" with Boysetsfire. Funeral For A Friend - Between Order And Model LP. You can ...

This ain't no fetish!: July 2014
http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
This ain't no fetish! Monday, 28 July 2014. 0070 - Hang The Bastard - Hang The Bastard 12". One of first bands I properly latched onto when I started collecting records was Hang The Bastard. I'm not sure why, but I liked their music at the time and was mainly buying records from UK bands/labels then. This one formed yet another part of the 2012 TDON vinyl club. Don't worry, I do have records from other labels too! All of the songs and their lyrics are printed inside the gatefold sleeve. B1 The Year Is One.

http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2014/11/going-forward.html
This ain't no fetish! Sunday, 30 November 2014. I've not given this blog much of my time recently and I'm getting a bit bored of it in it's current form. As we're coming to the end of the year, I'm going to be doing a couple of big discography posts and will try and write about some other stuff. Will be including tapes too. That's all for now. This ain't no fetish!: 0073 - Ruined Families - S/T 7"
http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2014/09/0073-ruined-families-st-7.html
This ain't no fetish! Sunday, 28 September 2014. 0073 - Ruined Families - S/T 7". I think I picked up this 7" at the same time as I picked up the My First Failure LP, I wrote about a month back. I have no great excuse for the gap between posts. This is a lovely release and has a special significance for me, as it was the first record I picked up that an OBI strip. The sleeve itself is a nice 6-panel one, with the artwork from the front of the sleeve, carrying on throughout. 2nd pressing - 300 on White.

This ain't no fetish!: August 2015
http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
This ain't no fetish! Sunday, 2 August 2015. Ultrashitinferno/Jazzfinger - Split 7". I picked this 7" up as part of my order from Tombs In The Valley Productions. It still remains a bit of a mystery to me too. Weird drone/noise/electronic music from two UK bands. It came with an screenprinted OBI strip -. The cover is also screenprinted but has no song-titles or anything on it, just a bizarre Octopus sprawled across both the front and back of the sleeve. It features one track from each band -. Awesome In...

This ain't no fetish!: November 2013
http://thisaintsnofetish.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
This ain't no fetish! Thursday, 28 November 2013. 0060 - Hexis - X 7". Who knows how long for this time. Anyway, this post follows on from the Beau Navire/Republic of Dreams record I posted about ages ago. It's about Danish black metal/hardcore band Hexis. I think this was he first record I owned by the band and I was pretty blown away by it. I liked the simple, dark aesthetic of the band. Especially within the artwork for this record. The 7" is itself is a three-track single-sided affair.

Broken Green Door | Unwavering Spirit
https://unwaveringspirit.wordpress.com/2015/08/10/broken-green-door
A Vinyl Record Blog. More Give →. While I would normally be really happy about posting this recent purchase, I was actually pretty pissed off for a couple of days before I even considered posting this. I was pretty stoked when I purchased a green copy of Reason to Believe’s “The Next Door”. It is pretty high up on my want list and it felt like forever before I even found a copy that was for sale. So when I finally found one, I jumped on it. I was going to post pictures of the cracks on the record here bu...

Loss of Blood | Unwavering Spirit
https://unwaveringspirit.wordpress.com/2015/07/31/loss-of-blood
A Vinyl Record Blog. I proceeded to listen to it instead of trying to satiate my hunger and I was pretty stoked on what I heard. I was actually hoping for a download code so I could listen to it in my car but that was a no go and I really didn’t want to spend money just to download these songs. I guess this record is for listening to at home only. 100 on white from Carry the Weight Records. This entry was posted in Hardcore. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
