Looking up towards the roofs of the buildings on the main street. Most of the lower floors are given over to businesses or restaurants and the upper floors have been converted into apartments. I have a post today with a building that needs restoration with shutters very much like this one. Old buildings have lots of character. If only the walls could talk!
