My mother’s name is Berit (born Seip Hanevold) Bjørgo, from Asker near Oslo. Valdressauen
Valdressauen ble produsert på Herang Handverk i Øystre Slidre siden 1988. Et ukjent antall 1000 stk har forlatt denne bedriften frem til 2007. I 2008 overtok Høvda Verkstad Sølv og Tre ANS ved Inger Norunn og Rainer Solhaug produksjon av den populære gyngesauen. Vi fortsetter å lager den så å si uforandret og bruker kun ekte saueskinn og trevirke. Hvert hode er handskåret, ørene er dreiet for hand, det finnes ikke to like skinn og slik blir hver gyngesau garantert et unikat.
