What’s the Big Deal? Four truck-type, highly dependable Air Springs are mounted between Retriever's bed and the truck's chassis to raise and lower the rear deck. Each Spring can be pressurized up to 120 psi by the truck's air power system creating the force needed to raise the Retriever's rear deck. Each Retriever model uses Springs capable of lifting 40,000 lbs. Pressure is applied or released by actuating valves conveniently located in the lighted, enclosed deck-side Control Box.
