Centronuclear Myopathy(CNM) is an inherited muscular disease in the Labrador Retriever. Symptoms include poor muscle tone, muscle weakness, abnormal posture, stiff hopping gait, and exercise intolerance particularly in cold conditions. Despite never developing properly functioning muscle tissue, affected Labs will usually have a normal life span. Result can help breeders determine which animals to include in their breeding program. VetNostic Laboratories will provide a certificate for each test result.
