Capturing vibrant lives, now and then. I have been behind a camera for over 35 years, starting in Chicago where I grew up (yep, that's me below.) I have worked in public broadcasting (TV and radio,) scientific visualization and information architecture. I designed great user experiences for Fortune 500 companies, including Kodak. A love of light, story, character and observation enables me to capture lasting portraits and treasured personal stories. I live in Oakland CA, with my wife and two daughters.
