Better Than Ezra - Beth. December 21st, 2010. 03:47 pm - Better Than Ezra. I thought it'd be nice to talk about something other than work, moving and the pregnancy for a minute. I bought a $26 ticket at the door and there was plenty of room and I could see them up close and personal. 'Twas very fun. I was glad I went despite my crazy work schedule last week. December 23rd, 2010 04:16 pm (UTC). It was Kris Kross, two twin brothers who liked to wear their clothes backwards. Glad you had fun!

September 15th, 2010. 10:37 pm - St. Baldrick's. I know a while back (almost 2 years ago now) I mentioned that my cousin's then 3 year old daughter had just been diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma cancer. He prognosis wasn't all that good - I think it was a 15% chance of survival, and there was a new treatment that could double that. She finished her treatments a few months ago and so far all of her scans show no sign of disease! So that is amazing news!

Oh speaking of the long walk, I've noticed a disturbing trend lately - kids who are WAY too old riding in strollers! What would possess a parent to put a 7 or 8 year old in a stroller - that's just bizarre. And I'm 99% certain these kids do not have developmental disabilities, so what could be the reason? Sad News - Beth. November 11th, 2010. 12:00 am - Sad News. I've been meaning to post for a while now, but I never seem to find the time lately. Things have still been crazy and we're still trying to find a place to live, which means we're not getting back to the hotel until around 9pm every night. So tonight on the way home I talked to my mom and heard some very sad news. I don't know what I would do. What can you tell your 5 year old child? And I don't know how I could go back to my life afterwards....

Anyone going to the show in Boston? I'm desperately looking for a ticket (or two) and would be thrilled if anyone had an extra. I foolishly didn't purchase tickets on-line when they went on sale, thinking I should just go to The Paradise and buy them there to avoid all the annoying fees. I'm no longer interested in running this community - it has been dead for a while and I have no real desire to do anything with it. Is there anyone interested in taking over the community and making it active again? If so please comment and let me know. If no one's interested the community may be deleted. I'd like at least two people to take over the reins. There are a couple of requirements:. You must have been on LJ for at least 6 months. You must be over 18 and willing to work with a second moderator.
