Newer posts →. October 22, 2012 · 12:48 am. Of Rosehips, Scrumping, and Bear Shit. First we check on some century old half-wild apple trees, to see if there are any apples left for us. Nary a fruit is to be found, but I do step in an enormous pile of bear shit, orange-brown, with the appearance and texture of apple butter.
