Friday, August 28, 2009. TR #2 - Colorado (Part 1). We got into town on Thursday afternoon, and headed for a stroll on the Snodgrass trail to get warmed up for the weekend. I did seem to be breathing a bit harder than usual as we were staying at an elevation of 9,300' and the riding only went up from there. Larissa and I with Mt. Crested Butte in the background. Sunday, August 9, 2009. TR #2 Colorado (Part 2). In an attempt to work on my Multi-Tasking skills, I attempted the Karate Kick/Biking maneuver. Larissa too busy shredding the Upper Upper Trail to pick wild flowers. You have to love a town that has incorporated the Community College's track into the bike trails. Pacific Crest Trail Overview. Tent Rocks National Monument Day Hike. In May we had the chance to spend a week in Santa Fe with family. We couldn’t wait to visit the desert again! Our itinerary included an excellent day hike in Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument. At 3 miles roundtrip, the hike was short, but it included some fantastic geology. Family hike in Tent Rocks National Monument. We found a kingcup cactus flaunting its bold red flowers near the trail. Uncle Bernie walking through the canyon.

Surveying pollinators on native plants - Mother Nature's Backyard. It’s summer and the Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve is literally buzzing with activity. Butterflies and other pollinators are busily making nests, collecting food and setting up housekeeping. Now is one of the best. These plants can’t produce if they aren’t pollinated. Ein Mann wird ermordet. Und Josie muss Entscheidungen treffen, die ihr Schicksal bestimmen. Eine so kluge Geschichte, erzählt in großen Worten. Lang, lang ist's her, dass ich dieses Buch gelesen habe und trotzdem ist die Geschichte noch sehr deutlich in meinem Gedächtnis. Etwas, das nicht viele Autoren meistern.
