I never belonged to a person, not for long at least. Four legs are better than two and take you places faster than the Flintstone’s clob-iddity-clap-bop! You are comme...

At Washtenaw Community College. Skip to primary content. Diane M. Laboda. I sing the Songs of Crows. Dark and dreary verse. A shout, a screech. Echoing in the spines of bystanders. Ringing in the heads of bastards. Quivering the loins of beasts. But how would the inner drum beat. How would you tell beauty. How would you live. Without my ring of truth? What this darkness hides. Darkness as black as my crown. For what’s there in the night. Can be seen in the day. I sing the Songs of Crows.

Submit no more then 5 poems for review at vintage poetry goodozog@gmail.com. Friday, February 28, 2014. Poems by Donal Mahoney. In the Garden of Envy. It's hot in our bedroom this midnight. The air conditioner died. She spent the day weeding. To open a window. And pray for a breeze. No breeze but I hear. Which of them deserves. To unfurl their beauty,. Petal by petal, like Gypsy Rose Lee. The roses and lilies,. The prettiest of all. The petunias along the borders yell. They want more space,. Some of his ...
