Thursday, 8 August 2013. Not what I'm used to. And packed my bag and was wheelchaired up to ward 52 as I was too tired to walk around the hospital. Toobs in abundance. (Not boobs, Gem. I'm not that lucky in that department.). Despite feeling poop, I did manage to have an amazing birthday on Saturday (even wore a dress, but there's no photographic evidence of that.) and had the best. cake. EVER. Be jealous. I'm Megan, I'm 25, I have CF (and all the fun that goes with it). My hearings pretty rubbish due to toxic levels of IV Tobra which pretty much started when I was a kid, and got worse from there. I'm 5'1 but I like my short-ness. I'm pessimistic but also optimistic. I complain but listen (ironically) just as much. I function on sarcasim and tea. I'm ever so slightly obsessed with owls, penguins and photography. I love my family and friends to bits even if I rarely say it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Make friends with people I wouldn’t normally be friends with. Raise money for charity. Get rid of old junk. Start exercising more (some form of physio). Spend a night under the stars. Get to a healthy BMI (preferably 19-21ish at least). 50kg eat your heart out! Go to a zoo. Wish on a shooting star. Pick my own strawberries. Keep a private, paper journal. Save money and spend it on something big. Universal took a lot of saving! Throw a surprise party for a family member or friend. Have a lazy weekend.
