Still Life With Peanut Butter and Jelly. Monday, October 31, 2005. Trip to Lucerne, Switzerland - Hiking on Mt. Pilatus. On Saturday (30 Oct.) Gabriel and I went hiking on Mt. Pilatus. It is the symbol of Lucerne, and the peak is 7000 ft above sea level! Mt Pilatus as seen from Lucerne. These people, with the matching Alp costumes were for real! The first cable car ride. Anyway, we did finally leave cafe de punt, and make our way back to the aiport, catching the last shuttle back to the hotel. an excellent day. Friday, May 29, 2009. Vk visits (part 1). Made our way home, in anticipation of our big day in the big city on monday. We went in search of a place to get a drink before we would head back to the restaurant (it was a homey italian place) for dinner.

The last place that Jennifer, Rob and I visited was Münster, a city in Westphalia where the Treaty of Westphalia ending the 30 years war in 1648 was signed. The city has many pretty cathedrals and a university, part of which used to be a palace. It seems as if these people drove here all the way from Florida . . . A Brit's adventures in California. Friday, December 15, 2006. It was time for my company's. Quarterly meeting. The place I work is so cool that this was combined with making beer. Brew it Up. Is a Sacramento microbrewery where you can either drink the professionally made beer or make your own (under professional supervision).
