Right now it’s usually in the high 80’s. We got back at the end of the wet season and it’s so much greener and lush than when we left. Today is a Gift Live Thankfully *. I saw my doc twice this week! My first appointment was last Thursday. After noticing the difference that the Prednisone made she gave three options:. 1 Increase my anti-inflammatory drug or NSAID. 2 Increase the NSAID and start me on an anti-malarial drug called Planquinil (mom takes it and so do alot of Lupus sufferers). She had me go without my Relafen for a couple of days to see how I would feel and I was in alot of pain. Both of us were disappointed that that was the case. I have been on Relafen for over a year and the hope is that it has lowered my inflammation enough to allow to go without pain free. Today is a Gift Live Thankfully *. Early Monday morning, Feb 18th, there was a fire in our apartment building! Jemilah came over at about midnight or earlier and talked with mom and I for a bit. I finally got up to go to bed in mom's bed at 2:30ish AM and Jemilah and mom watched a movie. We were being told to evacuate the building because there was a fire! Jemilah ran next door to get her family together and mom and I scrambled to get dressed and take important items like our meds and important papers.
