Indian Summer: September 2007

http://jackie-dennis.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

All You Sentient Beings. Creatures. Little animals. Legs. Hairy ones. Like Golde says in Fiddler on the Roof: May the czar [insert instead: horrible insects and hairy rodents] live a long life [insert instead: lives] and stay they hell away from us! One might think, that with all of the time I spend in developing countries, I might get used to the minions of such places: her little four-plus-legged friends. But I simply cannot. Cannot! Daddy longlegs are one thing. I don't think they bite, althought ...

How to License Images. Spa & Health. Food & Beverage. Yoga Video – Behind the Scenes. August 21, 2012. It was a joy, mostly, to shoot yoga instructor Ka’ale Sea performing feats of grace in the gushing mist of a tropical waterfall. We had just a couple hours to capture teaser stills and video for the up-and-coming launch of Waterfall Yoga. Thankfully, Ka’ale is a pro, and made a one-legged squat on a boulder look effortless. “That’s the move! 8221; I said. “Can you do that 20 more times? The strategy: I ...

I’m sad to be leaving friends behind at the high school. The team I worked with was (and still is! When will the grocery store happen? What will I have to sacrifice?

where the red pen bleeds

Where the red pen bleeds. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. In my quest to try and develop an appreciation for new vegetables, today I made a dish featuring parsnips AND leeks (two brand-new veggies for me).
