https://whitneyinlaos.wordpress.com/2011/02

Whitney's Adventures in Laos. Just another WordPress.com site. Half way through thoughts…. The food here has been a big adjustment for me. There have been times when I have questioned what exactly has been placed on. Ooo and peaches, so good. I miss cheese and steak. How about a Lao boy? Would you date a Lao boy?

Another memory of Mehtuu that I hav...

Thursday, February 11, 2010. So some of the posts are out of order, but because I received some out of order it has been hard for me to figure out the weeks so I gave up on that. My companion, Sister Mongan, has two more months before she goes home. Crazy! This week we’ve learned how valuable the members are in this work. We’ve had a member fellowship with us at almost every lesson, and the lesson goes so much better than we could have done ourselves! I love you all! So today I hit 3 months in Indo!

I find it humorous that on my flight home to the US, that I watched a cartoon titled: "Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa" because that is in essence what I did! And so here I am. I am officially a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer with all of it's rights and privileges and I have decided that my taste of volunteer life in Mada was not enough. Sunday, November 8, 2009. How Celine Dion Changed my World. I was joking and laughing about this cultural anomaly with other volunteers the other day when I received the inspiration for this blog post.
