The space has a long history as a live music venue from Sunday ballad sessions in the 80 s to Dublin s punk haunt throughout the naughtiest, after which it fell out of use. BASK - Castlrea Exhibition

The photographs of Tom Gallagher, taken between 1938 to 1963, depict scenes from the town of Castlerea in county Roscommon as well as some from Tom s time spent at NCAD in Dublin. Most had never been developed before. The exhibition literature focused on the images of Tom, himself. The yellow of Roscommon County was used as a nod to the location of the exhibition. Selene s uninterrupted silhouette runs from the legs through to the mantle achieving an elegant and contemporary surround.
