What fitness really looks like. December 19, 2014. WHAT FITNESS LOOKS LIKE TO A TRANS-CON RUNNER. 1 Breaking the home treadmill from overuse. Subsequently, swearing off gym “dreadmills” since they enforce a one-hour limit on all cardio machines, and one must switch machines at least four times in order to get in a reasonable workout. It’s a pain. 2 Sleeping in = 6 am. 3 One’s entire body hurts. In fact, parts of that body hurt that one was previously unaware existed. 6 Keeping pliers in the foot care kit.
