Saturday, February 16, 2013. I was really lucky to get to have back to back. Celebrations of love this year. One with my man and one with my ladies. I found this valentine for Joe during my recent Portland trip. I knew he would love the cat on it. Oh wait, that was me. Joe surprised me with some Harry and David goodies. I got my hair colored and. Put on a really bright. Pink/coral dress for my date with Joe. We had an amazing dinner at Dahlia Lounge. Furikake yam which was so, so good. Links to this post.

Friday, April 10, 2015. I am happy to report that snowshoeing at Paradise on Mount Rainier. Has become a winter tradition. I can say that since it's been two years in a row, right? Joe and I took advantage of a sunny last day of February. We were among the first to arrive and the only snowshoers. So we felt like we had the mountain all to ourselves. Similar to last year. It was incredibly windy. You can see in the photos above how the snow had been sculpted by the wind. Links to this post.

Saturday, March 23, 2013. Last Sunday Joe and I spent the day on Whidbey Island. We went up to visit my parents who were staying for the weekend. It was Joe's first time on the island, crazy! Here are some photos from the day:. We took the ferry over, had quiche (made by my dad) for lunch. As my mom says, "real men make quiche"! Went on a walk with Spencer on the Ebey preserve,. Sunday, June 23, 2013. Sorry for the silence around here. I ended my fifth year teaching last week. Then I spent a magical weekend in the Methow Valley. Monday, March 3, 2014. I'm going to pretend like it hasn't been nearly five months. Since the last time I posted here and just jump back in, ok? The first Saturday in January happened to be gorgeous,. So Joe and I drove to Mount Rainier for a day in the snow. We hiked around Paradise in the glorious sunshine. The wind was crazy and caused some amazing little blizzards. One of my gloves blew off a ledge and was long gone in seconds. I'm so happy we were able to enjoy this beautiful day on the mountain.

Saturday, August 24, 2013. Recipe: Blueberry Mini Pies. As I prepare to head back to work officially on Monday,. I have come to terms with the fact that I would be perfectly. Sunday, October 13, 2013. Wedding Photos} Allie Russ. I played wedding photographer in Bellingham in September. It took me a month but I finally finished editing this weekend. Thursday, July 17, 2014. Summer is in full force here in Seattle. Kate and I chose to brave temperatures in the upper 80's to. On a gorgeous, clear Monday. I only have photos from my phone, so pardon the lack of quality. Once we reached the steep meadow area the bear grass was phenomenal. We also saw plenty of paintbrush, lupine, and many other. Don't know the names of. Rainier was beautiful and once we hit Little Bandera. We could see more of the jagged Cascade profile that I love. Links to this post.
