The Web Enabled Home. One of the great things which came out of MozFest in London this year (aside from official Firefox OS support for Raspberry Pi! Was this idea of the "Web Enabled Home.". How is that Apple TV working for you? What if, instead of being totally screwed if you wanted to have lights from one company, a music player from another, and a thermostat from yet another, you could buy these things with confidence because they all had a "WoT" sticker on them? Talk about the " Web We Want.

WoT is Web of Things. Not to be confused with IoT, which is Internet of Things. In our opinion, WoT is concerned with users and browsers and APIs, where IoT is concerned with sensors and devices and low level stuff. In our opinion again, WoT should not require a raft of new protocols. We already have more than enough to go round! However, some APIs would be nice.
