Monday, October 22, 2012. The biggest thing keeping me busy is traveling to and from rallies, to be more specific Heartland rallies. A Heartland rally is where owners of Heartland coaches, trailers or toy haulers get together at a campground or RV park and partake in various activities. Since John and Rana bought their Big Country 5. Facility. Wow what a rally for our first one! The devil is in the details. 8:00 AM arrived and the Heartland techs were raring to go! The Meandering Maddox's Blog. A journal of our life on the road. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Opening Week – Pelton Park. Last Friday at 6:00 AM I unlocked the main gate at Pelton Park, kicking off the 2015 camping season. The weather was cool and overcast. The campers began arriving at 2:00 PM, fourteen sites were rented. Judy checked to see how many sites we rented last year (10) on opening day so a few more campers showed up this year. Saturday was the first day of trout fishing. Next Blog: in about a week.

The Great Gate Experience! Sunday, February 26, 2012. Darn Slow Internet Service. I shouldn't complain at all actually, at least we have internet! But after a time you kind of forget that and revert back to thinking you are in civilization and it should be faster. Oh well. I'm going to post some pictures here because I can't get them posted on facebook so I hope you can see them. When we have a normal busy gate! Oh, yesterday, David our field service guy saw a cougar just 3 miles down our dirt road!
