I was trying to time the waves just perfectly, so that the movement of the water would be just so, which almost had me swimming with the fishes. Thank goodness for quick reflexes, and long arms. My buddy Neal loves to surf and every time I’m in NY there are waves, Neal always says yes. Maybe the waves weren’t fantastic but we were having a blast before the sun came up and I had an opportunity try some new shots.
