July 14th, 2008. Annual Meeting for 2008. April 17th, 2008. Our Annual Meeting will be held on May 17, 2008 this year at the Walkersville Southern Railroad. Walkersville, Maryland is located about 10 miles north of Frederick, MD. The meeting will start at 1PM and will go for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Another Year for the Books - 2007 In Review. January 1, 2008. Yet another year in the saga of TWVRPS has come to a close. Once again it is time for a look back at what has happen over the past year.

7/7/12 - Chesapeake Western 662 Restored. The restoration of Baldwin diesel no. 662 has been completed by the Roanoke Chapter, NRHS. The locomotive was delivered to her new home at the Virginia Museum of Transportation on July 5th, with an unveiling and dedication ceremony on the 7th. Although she was not restored to operation, the engine received a very thorough cosmetic restoration and looks absolutely stunning. Congrats to the Roanoke Chapter for a job well done!
