Get started with validating XML
http://www.getstartedwith.us/tech/2014/11/09/learning-schemas.html
Learn digital scholarship techniques with us. Get started with validating XML. My goal in this session is to review the various means to validate an XML document. Well look at DTDs and XML Schema first and then briefly try out RELAX NG and Schematron. Im not aiming to teach you how to use these technologies- trust me, there are whole books on the subject. Just hours away from the first events of the User Conference and XQuery geeks all over are sharpening their MacBooks, testing out iPad integrations and, if you are like me, polishing up some XQuery code to show everyone that gotta have it feature. XQuery by Example
By Miguel de Melo. Friday, 16 July 2010. Testing migration from 0.9-ml to 1.0-ml. Chances are that ever so often you'll come across some legacy XQuery code in 0.9-ml that should really be upgraded to 1.0-ml for the obvious reasons, and everyone seams to be ever so scared of touching the code, because "it works". Some of the queries may even return large xml fragments and making it difficult to compare the output visually, and very expensive to use fn:deep-compare(). You can then run the same functions si...

XQueryHacker
Farewell api.xqueryhacker.com. Today I finally got around to shutting down api.xqueryhacker.com. I created it back in 2010 to improve the usability of the MarkLogic docs, but since then MarkLogic have revamped their developer site. And there's really no value in my alternate interface now. If you really miss it then you can always host it yourself, the project is on GitHub. Applying a function in the context of a different database - MarkLogic 7 update. MarkLogic and XQuery learning resources.
