Saturday, 18 July 2015. WB: 13.7.15. What a wonderful final week the children have had in Year 1. Our ‘seaside’ afternoon was a great success and the children thoroughly enjoyed splashing around in the paddling pool, playing in the sandpit, dancing and taking turns to hit the piñata with a stick. Year 6 - Class 6K (12 13). Tuesday, 24 May 2011. 4C have just been on a trip to Colchester Zoo. We had the most fantastic day. We went to Colchester as we are learning all about endangered animals and their habitats. Although the animals are kept in the zoo it is really nice how the zoo makes the environment that the animal is living in as close as possible to it's natural habitat. Year 6 - Class 6LM (12 13). Tuesday, 28 February 2012. In Class 5R we have been studying Shakespeare. We have been looking at the story of Macbeth. Macbeth was originally one of King Duncan's top soldiers. He was told he would be King one day by witches. He was a very unstable, vicious and lonely man. We had a fantastic day looking at all the endangered animals and seeing how the zoo had created a habitat to match their natural living environment.
