We also got to surprise Brandon's mom for Mother's Day. It was a great surprise, and really fun to be able to see Cory, Vicky, and Ainzley, too. Yay for fun random trips!

My Life Lately: January 2005
http://mylifelately.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 30, 2005. Can you believe it? I've posted 3 days in a row! Nothing of significance, but oh well . "The Day After Tomorrow" was actually much better than I thought it would be, although I couldn't help but continually ask myself, "What exactly is the guy going to do when he reaches his son anyway? It's not like he had special abilities to melt the snow or fly them out of there. That part was kind of corny, but it was a decent movie overall. Posted by Katy @ 5:30 PM. Friday, January 28, 2005.

My Life Lately: October 2004
http://mylifelately.blogspot.com/2004_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 28, 2004. Hopefully Not Too Dark. Note: I chose the title for this post because after rereading it, I realized the two major themes were unemployment and death. But I added a little happy treat at the end, so hopefully I won't anger all 4 of my faithful readers :). Have you seen one of those movies or random TV episodes of a guy in jail who keeps track of the time he serves by tallying the days on the stone wall with a piece of chalk? To end on a light note, here are two random tidbits ...

My Life Lately: July 2005
http://mylifelately.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 30, 2005. It was perfect timing for me to hear that message, since I'm anxious about finding a job in Milwaukee and figuring out the details of when (and even if) to move. Sometimes it's such a relief to remember that. What's best for us, as long as we trust God to take care of it or steer us in the right direction. It's just unfortunate that I don't spend enough time in prayer or in the Bible to really hear what he's telling me! Posted by Katy @ 3:17 PM. Tuesday, July 26, 2005. I guess it...

My Life Lately: February 2005
http://mylifelately.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 26, 2005. We just got back from seeing the movie "Hitch." I thought it was quite entertaining (though not a movie I'd rush out to buy for my own collection). Still, pretty cute! Here are a couple observations I made during my latest movie-going experience:. Although I have to admit, I'm surprised it took them this long to catch on to the fact that during the ten minutes before a movie starts, they have a captive audience! Rather clever, I must say. What did you think? That store should...

My Life Lately: June 2005
http://mylifelately.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 18, 2005. Last night, Jason and I went to "American Flatbread," a restaurant in a nearby town where they cook your pizza in the open-paned, wood-burning oven right on the floor in front of you. It smelled- and tasted - good! Today, we worked out at our gym and then went to a nearby farmer's market where we got some fresh peaches and grapefruit. Then it was off to Avila Beach where I walked across the BURNING HOT sand and then dipped my toes in the FREEZING COLD water. My poor feet! Jason's...

The Land of Zaardecious: November 2006
http://zaardecious.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
The Land of Zaardecious. Thursday, November 23, 2006. Thankgiving and Being Thankful. Sometimes the smallest things are the ones we take for granted - food, water, clothing and shelter. Hopelly wherever you are, you can give thanks for the things in your lives. Happy Thanksgiving. Posted by Zaar @ 3:28 PM. Saturday, November 18, 2006. In the end, vacations are always a good thing and it's always nice to get away. I'm going to Europe for 10 days, I nothing to complain about. Posted by Zaar @ 4:15 PM.
