Film maker based in Brighton, UK. 5 Carats of Diamonds. An Ode to Cliche…. Parkrun Stories – Gary and Steve. The Art Bastard Show. The Suburb That Killed My Friend. An Ode to Cliche…. I began by purchasing a process paid Kodak Tri-X B/W film from the good people at Super 8 Reversal Lab. I wanted to use super 8 to force myself to be very careful about how I would shoot things. There is nothing like a limit of 3 minutes of footage for 30 to make you very aware of what you are filming!

Borderlands and Other Territories. Tuesday, 31 May 2011. Artist Statement: Mike HJ Chang. In the sculptural work, Bench. A slight physical change has occurred to a typical piece of furniture. The (un)combination of the slanted form and the rigid square-ness of the ceramic titles results in a disharmonious state. Similar to Black Pebble. The slightly out-of-ordinariness makes it hard to rule out that one is already in a dream. Posted by Zai Tang. Artist Statement: Chun Kai Qun. In this work, I have create...

Laquo; DYNAMIC WAVELENGTH. RENDERS / TEXTURES / WIREFRAMES. PLAYBLAST / FULL ANIMATIC OF PHOTOPERIOD PICCADILLY. I’ve completed a final edit of the film which can be seen as a playblast below. The film is 1:14mins with each HDRI lasting 4 seconds, sequentially lighting both the dynamic wave and light meter. In the end I decided to overlap each HDRI by a second, allowing me to blend the renders together in post for a seemless change in environmental illumination. Feed You can leave a response. Archive for June, 2010. TIME-LAPSE IN PICCADILLY CIRCUS. June 24, 2010. 24 hour time-lapse of Piccadilly Circus reflected by the HDRI sphere. Posted in Project Development. RENDERS / TEXTURES / WIREFRAMES. June 21, 2010. For the texturing I used 4k and even 8k UV maps knowing full well I would be positioning the camera very close to the meter. This level of detail has succeeded in creating a believable physical object made plausible by the simulations of a real film camera within Maxwell. June 19, 2010.
