A Bird's Leap: 19th: DIY Paris Cappuccino Cups
http://www.abirdsleap.com/2012/12/19th-diy-paris-cappuccino-cups.html
Wednesday, December 19, 2012. 19th: DIY Paris Cappuccino Cups. Christmas Calendar, Day 19. For the Coffee Craving: Hand Drawn Cappuccino Cups. I was having a tough time deciding what to make for my sister-in-law; none of my ideas seemed to be a perfect fit. When I saw this really cute photo of a painted mug by Lana Red. On craftgawker.com, I could almost have hit myself on the forehead. My sister-in-law loves coffee! Press the pen down against some paper until color starts to sip down to the tip. After t...
A Bird's Leap: DIY Surfboard Headboard or Wall Art
http://www.abirdsleap.com/2012/11/diy-surfboard-headboard-or-wall-art.html
Saturday, November 24, 2012. DIY Surfboard Headboard or Wall Art. My second week of this weird on-and-off fever is starting to get to me :( but at least I have a fun project to share with you guys:. About a week ago I posted this large wall art post. My favorite phase: Staining! I, once again, used Minwax Wood Finish in the color Special Walnut. Then I started to draw the pattern I wanted on them, and finally "carved" them out. Dab the whole thing, and then remove the plastic. When dry, finish with s...
A Bird's Leap: Fishtail Bun Tutorial
http://www.abirdsleap.com/2013/01/fishtail-bun-tutorial.html
Monday, January 21, 2013. Today I got to make a fishtail ballerina bun,. Thanks Em for modeling! Take the top front part of your hair, divide into two (keep tight! A little bit like doing a french braid, but using only two parts and you just add to them from opposite sides.). So when you've done about 4-8 small sections on each side ( depending on how narrow sections you take plus how thick your hair is), start braiding the hair you've gathered (those two parts) into a regular fishtail. January 24, 2013 ...

Bolso Free form Croché | Tamknitting
https://tamknitting.blogspot.com/2015/03/bolso-free-form-croche.html
Loocahswit: First Time: From Japanese Diagram to Written Pattern
http://loocahswit.blogspot.com/2014/08/first-time-from-japanese-diagram-to.html
Sunday, August 17, 2014. First Time: From Japanese Diagram to Written Pattern. I want to learn how to read a Japanese pattern or diagram so I will make this my first time risk of trying to read one. I will just start on a simple motif pattern and then maybe in time will move on to a bigger pattern like a flower or a doily. The pattern I will use is from issuu.com. This is the pattern:. As you can see, this pattern uses the following symbols to indicate crochet stitches:. Half double crochet (hdc). At #4 ...

Tamknitting: agosto 2015
https://tamknitting.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Spilopmageren: februar 2013
http://spilopper.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 8, 2014. DIY Fringe Shawl in 5 minutes. Get some fabric that doesn't unravel when cut (like the stretchy t-shirt fabric I got here). Then cut lines in the fabric like in this pic underneath, with the edge creating fringes. Easy and quick, huh? For modeling for me! Tuesday, February 25, 2014. I know it's been a while. I've been keeping busy with my own photography business, which is why I thought of a different giveaway for this time. Comment on the giveaway post on my Facebook page. Make a ...

A Bird's Life
Sunday, August 16, 2015. Oh, I hate the heat! Hot, hot day today with many more days to come. I am thankful for the air-conditioning but I hate being cooped up in the house. We did go out yesterday for a quick jaunt but we were home by noon and into the cool house. Lots of hay being cut now. Interesting to see the traditional square bales instead of the big round ones. Quite a number of old farms along this road although a few have disappeared over the last few years. I love the old barns. I also did som...

A Bird\'s Nest
A Bird ’s Nest. April 12, 2011 · Filed under Everything Else. Oddly, a year and a half or so after I abandoned this blog completely, it appears to be more popular than ever. Mostly with anti-choice trolls, to be sure, but I suppose I should be pleased someone’s paying attention? Is kind of exciting. I don’t promise to post often, and I can’t guarantee I’ll be exciting, but here I am again. Not that you should feel pressured or anything. Comments (8) ». I’m pretty sure I won that debate.
