Liberry Air: May 2006
http://liberryair.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 12, 2006. The best and the worst. I wound up looking straight at the kid who most thought he should have had WK's part. The look on his face has chilled my soul: he had a huge, wolfish grin - really happy. Clearly he thought it was serious - and was delighted at this kid's misery and the possibility (he thought) of getting to replace WK. It made the grin on Jack Nicholson's face in the witches of Eastwick look tame. Tuesday, May 09, 2006. Oh, give me a break. The squished grape remains on the...
How to Skin a Squirrel: April 2006
http://bixdog7.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
How to Skin a Squirrel. Saturday, April 08, 2006. Frohe Ostern", Michael Sowa. Art imitates life in Felton as a monster bunny goes on a vegetable-devouring rampage:. At the Northumberland Arms, hunched villagers whisper of the giant, ravenous rabbit prowling the community at night. No one, it seems, can catch it, and no home-grown vegetable is safe. And here's the lop-eared maniac:. This sounds so familiar. Like something I might have seen in the theater recently. Hmm, now what was it? A Year In Comics.
How to Skin a Squirrel: December 2006
http://bixdog7.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
How to Skin a Squirrel. Saturday, December 16, 2006. A few of my favorite Christmas posts from MetaFilter:. Everyone loves a lil' pooper in the creche. The story of the Caganer. Also from our Catalan friends, the "cagar el tió". Or Shit Log. Beat your wood till the herring spills out! David Sedaris on Christmas in Holland, where the good tots can expect gifties from the former Bishop of Turkey, and the bad ones can expect a brutal visit from 6 to 8 black men and Sinterklaas. How to Skin a Squirrel: January 2007
http://bixdog7.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
How to Skin a Squirrel. Saturday, January 13, 2007. Matt at my Old Grade School. I took this photo at Christmastime, when we were visiting my parents. That imposing building in the background is my old grade school. The lens of the camera was dirty, which gives this shot the dreamy, Vasoline-on-the-lens quality. Sort of reminds me of Christina's World. Posted by BixDog at 7:26 PM. Tuesday, January 09, 2007. The Funniest Drawing In The World. See, it's funny 'cuz dogs don't use the potty. A Year In Comics.

Gin Knitting. Monkeys. What more could you ask for? Making me work and stuff. I haven't had a minute to blog, and about 5 minutes in the last 4 days to surf (Hi Kendra! And I feel like I'm way out of touch in the blogosphere. Hopefully, several of my FatCats will be out of the office tomorrow and I'll have an opportunity to catch up. That is so Queer...: May 2006
http://soqueer.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
That is so Queer. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. I wear underwear to bed. I look in people’s windows. I save leftover salad. I believe the tabloids. I’ve called a number written on a bathroom wall. I believe my horoscope. My longest relationship is six months. I break up over email. I take my dog to restaurants. I feed my dog human food. I’m writing a screenplay. I tell people what my therapist says. I watch game shows. I think my life would make a really great movie. The Beverly Center for a life less ordinary.
The Virtual World: Which Greek God/Goddess Are You?
http://thevirtualworld.blogspot.com/2005/04/which-greek-godgoddess-are-you_08.html
Poetry, the imagination, and the creative life. Friday, April 08, 2005. Which Greek God/Goddess Are You? I think this fits for me. The picture below reminds me of the cover of Greg Orr's wonderful book Poetry as Survival. I found the link at A Bird's Nest. Which Greek God/Goddess Are You. Apparently, Jacob is also "Morpheus." First you were both side sleepers, now this. Oh well. April 08, 2005 2:09 PM. As Nemesis I must warn you that this quiz really pissed me off. April 08, 2005 3:29 PM. Check out this ...

A Bird's Leap
Thursday, May 8, 2014. DIY Fringe Shawl in 5 minutes. Get some fabric that doesn't unravel when cut (like the stretchy t-shirt fabric I got here). Then cut lines in the fabric like in this pic underneath, with the edge creating fringes. Easy and quick, huh? For modeling for me! Tuesday, February 25, 2014. I know it's been a while. I've been keeping busy with my own photography business, which is why I thought of a different giveaway for this time. Comment on the giveaway post on my Facebook page. Make a ...

A Bird's Life
Sunday, August 16, 2015. Oh, I hate the heat! Hot, hot day today with many more days to come. I am thankful for the air-conditioning but I hate being cooped up in the house. We did go out yesterday for a quick jaunt but we were home by noon and into the cool house. Lots of hay being cut now. Interesting to see the traditional square bales instead of the big round ones. Quite a number of old farms along this road although a few have disappeared over the last few years. I love the old barns. I also did som...

A Bird\'s Nest
A Bird ’s Nest. April 12, 2011 · Filed under Everything Else. Oddly, a year and a half or so after I abandoned this blog completely, it appears to be more popular than ever. Mostly with anti-choice trolls, to be sure, but I suppose I should be pleased someone’s paying attention? Is kind of exciting. I don’t promise to post often, and I can’t guarantee I’ll be exciting, but here I am again. Not that you should feel pressured or anything. Comments (8) ». I’m pretty sure I won that debate.
