The Genealogy of Taste: A Special Saturday at Work Post
http://djfoodstamps.blogspot.com/2008/01/special-saturday-at-work-post.html
The Genealogy of Taste. Saturday, January 19, 2008. A Special Saturday at Work Post. Beware: This post contains elements of psuedo-intellectualism and life admissions. Proceed with caution. As we rolled around the TTC this morning and the ungodly Saturday hour of 8 o clock we decided to let the i-pod random about. This is not generally the practice before work, mostly because we MUST have excellent music to motivate us to even get in the door of TAIE, but today we were resigned ourselves to the fates.

The Genealogy of Taste. Sunday, December 31, 2006. A review of the new Bill Gaston book is over at ink noire. For your readingness. Click the link, don't be lazy. Also, picked up a gig writing for toronto exclusive magazine here, so look for live and CD reviews there. On a less professional (and more personal note) found a vinyl copy of. Live at the Regal. And am becoming more and more convinced of its greatness. Hunt it down in some form! Happy New Years everyone. Posted by Tucker @ 12:21 PM. Where she ...

The Genealogy of Taste. Monday, January 21, 2008. Video of the Month! It's true the song is awesome, however the video is basically an incoherent pervy mess. First, there's Bob, looking like a rejected extra from Full House. Wandering around peeking at people from the projector booth of the drive-in playing his "guitar" (phallus alert! The Genealogy of Taste: Purple Rain, Puurrrrrple Rain
http://djfoodstamps.blogspot.com/2008/05/purple-rain-puurrrrrple-rain.html
The Genealogy of Taste. Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Purple Rain, Puurrrrrple Rain. A late night showing of. Revealed many new things to me. But first, we take a lot of weird looks for trumpeting the wonders of Prince. To be fair he's an odd guy, all blouse and high heels and pouty eyed looks. We're firm believers that he would be just as maligned as Michael Jackson if he wasn't such a overtly sexual creature (Jackson's problem even as early as. As an end note, the most succinct criticism we ever heard of.

The Genealogy of Taste. Monday, April 30, 2007. VIDEO OF THE WEEK! In lue of a trash video last week (I plum forgot) I posted one of the better videos I know. No other comments really. Commented out. The Genealogy of Taste. Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Rick Crilly - The Tablecloth Trick. I've just had the pleasure of finishing/reviewing The Tablecloth Trick a book I really enjoyed for its challenge towards meaning making and knowledge aquisition. A very dense and engaging book. At any rate the review is over at inknoire. Posted by Tucker @ 7:47 PM. Monday, March 26, 2007. VIDEO OF THE WEEK1111! The Genealogy of Taste. Friday, July 28, 2006. Norman Mailer - The Spooky Art. Who loves Norman Mailer? Posted by Tucker @ 4:47 PM. Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Who has been wiping their ass on the bathroom towels and face clothes? Fast paced and witty, Naked was an enjoyable enough novel though nothing really arresting or overly engaging; I don’t think I’d recommend it to people unless they have a three hour lay over in an airport. Posted by Tucker @ 7:16 PM. Saturday, July 22, 2006. Maybe if their drummer c...

The Genealogy of Taste. Saturday, May 27, 2006. Film School - Self Titled. First off I would like to start with my assumption that this album would be wildly pretentious. Who names their band Film School? It’s not as bad as Art School but it’s pretty close. You can just picture them wearing berets and discussing the benefits of Cézanne’s paintings in relation to Egoyan’s film works. God. Also the first track is titled untitled. Why the hell do bands refuse to title tracks? Jesus man) and wall of sound gu...

The Genealogy of Taste. Thursday, December 13, 2007. Suddenly My Teenage Fantasies Are Slightly more Obtainable. So we were minding our own business the other day, wandering the interweb and looking for ways to make our mark in society. When we stumbled upon one of the finds of the century. And now, ho ho, we've found a real life way in which this could happen. Shania Twin. Soundtrack. However, Shania Twin lacks an apostrophe and somehow that lends her a bit more legitimacy. We plan on approaching her wi...

And along with his answer, he reveals a piece of himself that I had not previously known. And, let me note, I think that's perfectly okay, if that is what a person wants. Accidental Teacher, On Purpose
Nice To Meet You. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Year 3: Exploring Countries and Cultures, Week 1. So, can I just say I hope the rest of our homeschool weeks go as smoothly as this one did? Thank God for the peaceful, productive week! We started with watching a movie titled On The Way to School (it's on Netflix). It documents four different kids trying to get to school and what they have to endure just to get there. These kids realize that their education is a privilege. Well, that's one week down and 35 to go!
