Archive for November 2010. A Sucker for Free Stuff. On: November 30, 2010. What could bring me back to the blogging world after a nearly two year hiatus? Only free stuff of course! That’s not entirely true. Johnny Depp could bring me back. And possibly donuts. I am but a weak, weak person. But about the free stuff…. Shutterfly. I played around with several different card layouts and photos today and found one that I think captures the spirit of our little family perfectly. A Day in the Life of Amanda.

Archive for January 2009. On: January 16, 2009. Do I have a lot of catching up to do or what? I promise I’ll get better at this blogging thing once maternity leave is over in a few weeks. I am much more inclined to piddle around on the computer when the alternative is doing work, rather than the alternative being watching tv or taking a nap. With that said, let’s do a catch up post, shall we? We’ve been doing lots of baby toe admiring. And who could forget baby fingers? Yeah That was awesome. Then we hea...

Archive for November 2008. On: November 19, 2008. I have no idea what happens to the time when you have a new baby at home. I may be taking the doctor’s instructions to take it easy, sleep, and forget about housework a little too seriously. Should I be ashamed to admit I have showered once since I’ve been home and worn the same comfy pants every single day? I’ve been doing nothing but snuggling with baby Sam, feeding him (this kid loves to eat! On: November 16, 2008. On: November 13, 2008. To get this ba...

Archive for October 2008. And So We Wait. On: October 27, 2008. 8221; She said any day, or it could still be a couple weeks. She didn’t check to see if I dilated anymore for fear of “stirring things up.” So, now we wait. I’m back to just hoping it happens before an induction date. Pitocin scares me. And the anxiety build-up for a set date….it’s just too much! I have an appointment this Friday, so I’ll update you then. Anxiously awaiting my shower guests at my grandma’s house a few weeks ago. I also organ...

Now We Are Six...: Gotcha!
http://thediaryofamadpregnantwoman.blogspot.com/2006/09/gotcha.html
Now We Are Six. As clever as clever. So I think we'll be six for ever and ever. Tuesday, September 05, 2006. She wouldn't smile for me at all today but her dad had no such problems. I caught the tail end of this one. She slept through the night again, from 10- 6.30. I am so loving this girl. Oh, and we've lost the dummy but she doesn't seem to bothered without it. I am very pleased about this. Goodness, you're lucky with this one! Wednesday, 6 September 2006 at 00:26:00 GMT-6. Oh, the injustice of it all.

Now We Are Six...: Happy babies

Now We Are Six. As clever as clever. So I think we'll be six for ever and ever. Monday, September 04, 2006. I spent Sophie's waking hours (of which there have oddly been very few) today trying to get her to smile for the camera. Of course she would stare intently at the camera looking like she was all pissed off and as soon as the camera was put away she would turn and look at me and smile. It seems I've a future troublemaker on my hands. Tuesday, 5 September 2006 at 00:34:00 GMT-6. A Day in the Life of ...

100 Things |

1 I don’t eat any kind of seafood except tuna in a can. 2 I have probably seen every episode of Saved By the Bell, Seinfeld, and Real World. 3 I once walked up 16 flights of stairs because of a suspicious looking elevator. 4 My calves were sore for a week. 5 I have naturally big calf muscles. 6 All of the following will more than likely give me a headache – perfume, sunglasses, headbands, laying around, loud music, caffeine, and plenty more. 7 I often start projects that I never finish. 30 I love learnin...

He’s HERE! |

On: November 16, 2008. Well, obviously. So, yeah, Whitney here and just like me and my old site, I’m not really so good with the updating in a timely manner… BUT! Now… Onto the news. After apparently the world’s easiest labor and delivery Samuel James was born at 1:06pm, weight 6lbs 140z (exactly what I guessed…BOOYAH) and was 20 inches long. He looks just like his momma and I love him already. 12 Responses to "He’s HERE! 1 Sugar and Ice. November 16, 2008 at 12:26 am. He’s beautiful, Em! He’s gorg...

On: November 13, 2008. To get this baby out via hoo-ha. In fact, that is what I will be doing this time TOMORROW. We’ll be getting up (not that we will actually manage to get any sleep I’d imagine) around 4 am and heading into the darkness on our way to the land of no turning back. The land of anxiety, pain (come onnnn, epidural! In one week and fill the oil tank on a lawnmower full of. To make a surprise entrance, otherwise… it’s eviction for you, little buddy. My bestest pal, Whitney, will give you an ...
