Noggin Is Now Our Default Channel. In the meantime, though, I have learned that the more ridiculous the show is, the more hypnotic it is for young children. Oh, and some of those shows are totally trippy. Yo Gabba Gabba? There are not words to describe this show. I love it for the way it holds my boys’ attention–but that’s about the only reason I do. It is WEIRD. And while we’re polling, what do you see is a reasonable amount of TV time for your kids each day? How strictly do you stick to that guideline?

I’ve been doing some google research, but all I can find are references to eczema, which he most definitely does not have, and baby mittens to keep from scratching (those certainly wouldn’t work with a nearly 18-month-old). Saturday, October 17, 2009. I came across a recipe in the new Dillard's Southern Living Christmas Cookbook (on pg. 124) that I just had to try. I've had a horrible chest cold lately and any sort of hot drink sounds SO GOOD. They're super soothing on the throat! We ran to Walmart today to get the ingredients and Hailey helped me make a big batch. It is unbelievably YUMMY! Excuse the blurry pictures, they were taken with my camera phone! Prep: 5 min. Cook: 20 min. 1 (48 oz.) jar cranberry juice cocktail.

Monday, August 24, 2009. Is there anybody out there? After contemplating FO EVA what to do about this here bloggy thing, I guess I'm back. WOW has my life ever changed. Just a few pretty big things that have happened since my last post. In March I took a trip to Cali all by myself, to visit my lil sister. I flew for the first time EVER.all that worrying all my life, of my fear of heights and claustrophibia making me not able to fly.it was all for nothing! And I also got my first tattoo (Hailey's initials).

Friday, April 29, 2011. I'm gonna make this look good. I pulled my hair out of my face today just to realize I'd moved enough back to show off a new highlight I'm sporting. I've seen smaller ones around my hairline. Those first started appearing when I was 24 (when K was in Iraq and I was planning our second wedding). But this one is a full strand, somewhere in the middle of all my hair. Another bonus: This strand totally matches my earrings! My life is brilliant. Labels: Sometimes theres just no label.
