Adventures in Auburn: Lessons in Humility
http://wilsonnco.blogspot.com/2012/02/lessons-in-humility.html
Living and Loving as a Twenty-Something. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Our second day at the carepoint was probably one of the hottest days I think I've ever experienced. But that was not the biggest thing to take away from the day. What an amazing experience to serve these kids in that way. Several moments during that time I found tears in my eyes. It was incredible to find that the washing of feet, no matter where they are, still have the power to show love to others. Please pray for members of our tea...

Adventures in Auburn: July 2011
http://wilsonnco.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Living and Loving as a Twenty-Something. Monday, July 25, 2011. After a blissful culinary adventure, we ventured to the dollar movie theater not far from our house. The new version of Jane Eyre was playing and we'd been wanting to see it- so off to the movies we went. While the movie itself was a little bit disappointing, it was nice to take the time to hang out and go out with my awesome roommate. When we got back, I was able to finish these corkboard states, which I saw on the bright life. There was an...

Adventures in Auburn: October 2011
http://wilsonnco.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Living and Loving as a Twenty-Something. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Phoenix was not what I was expecting. It was much more quiet, and afforded much more personal time than I had anticipated. Sessions I attended were well done, but that is not the case for many of the sessions attended by my peers - some were awkward and poorly done, while others were very thought-provoking and had us talking for hours afterward. Moral of the story: Phoenix is bad, NCHC is good. :). Friday, October 21, 2011. Phoenix - Day 2.

Adventures in Auburn: November 2011
http://wilsonnco.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Living and Loving as a Twenty-Something. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. As the time to go to Swaziland gets closer, and the months move more quickly, I am continually reminded of the purpose for this journey. Ten years I've been ready to go, and ten years I've waited for an open door to go to the continent of Africa to minister to the children who have been abandoned by a disease that was not their fault. Now as I write, a song is running through my head, the first part seems especially pertinent:. These two...

Adventures in Auburn: March 2012
http://wilsonnco.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Living and Loving as a Twenty-Something. Thursday, March 15, 2012. Finding a Special Friend. I would like to introduce you to a friend of mine.this is Calsile. She doesn't speak any English, but is plenty vocal in siSwati, the local language. Many times she'd say something to me in siSwati, and then just keep on talking. She talked to the other children a lot too, though from what I understand, she is pretty new at the carepoint. Calsile is one of the kids at Mkhombokati carepoint without a sponsor. ...

Captivated By Grace: January 2011
http://captivatedbygrace-amielouwho.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Lessons and musings on a God who Saves. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Loss for the Sake of Christ. Paul (Saul) was traveling to Damascus to take Christians as prisoners back to Jerusalem, when out of nowhere he saw a light from Heaven flash all around him and a voice rumbled through his ears. "'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? Who are you Lord? But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus...
