Image Processing and Recognition. Interactive Segmentation and Editing Tools. The computer science graphics lab at BYU researches and develops cutting-edge rendering technologies for rendering better images faster. The image shown below was generated with our recent graph-based global illumination algorithm, which caches ray casts in a unique way that optimizes the amount of information available in the final image. The resulting images converge faster than without this caching.
