And then there were three...: Grandpa's answer

And then there were three. Friday, December 07, 2007. So we're at this point with Katie's hair where it is constantly in her eyes. We've debated over cutting bangs for her or just toughing this out. We put barrettes, clips, pony tail holders and gel in her hair all in the name of keeping it out of her eyes. These things only last so long until Katie decides they need to come out, which is sometimes only seconds later. When I came to pick Katie up today I opened the door to find the solution:.

Getting ready to crawl and sit by myself! Katie is really close to becoming more independent. It's great and worrisome at the same time. She is so much fun! Right now some of her favorite things are playing tug-o-war with her dad, bouncing in her bouncy seat and jumping in her johnny jump up. Links to this post.

Strong, Not Tough: November 2011

Strong, Not Tough. The most recent roller coaster. The most recent roller coaster. The girls have been sick for almost a month: a nasty head cold that turned into ear infections for both of them. Dave caught the same cold a couple of weeks ago, then ended up with kidney stones over the weekend. That icky cold has attacked me and brought ear and sinus infections. I also got an itchy full-body rash a few weeks ago and can't find anything to relieve it. The ultrasound was beautiful. We're having a boy!

Strong, Not Tough. Glass Tables, Screen Doors and Thunder. Glass Tables, Screen Doors and Thunder. So, this week. It's a miracle she didn't break both legs. Later, my oldest and I jammed our toes together in a mother-daughter clutz moment, and my toe nail slid under the skin of one of her little toes deep enough to create a big wound. :-( She was okay until she got in the pool at swim lessons and yelped from all the chlorine in her owie. I, too, have my faults. Me, to my husband (early this moring):.

Strong, Not Tough: June 2012
http://thehalversons.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Strong, Not Tough. I've been thinking a lot lately (dangerous, I know) about the part I play in shaping and molding the character and personality of each of my kids: specifically what they are learning by means of observation. Here's a glimpse of the lists:. I hope my children do not. Sneak/ act deceitfully (essentially: lie), or put themselves in a situation where they might have to. Try to make other people feel bad/ dumb so they can feel better about themselves. Display competitiveness to the extent i...

Check out our home school. My Spanish Teaching Blog. Friday, August 20, 2010. Pink and Blue ice cream. On our way to Tahoe we stopped and got ice cream at a Rite Aid. I wish our rite aid had the ice cream counter. Katie got cotton candy ice cream and we saw they sell it at our rite aid. I bought these tiny ice cream cones and of course the kids loved it. I just love JD's blue goatee. Links to this post. Denise, Dina, me and the kids. Links to this post. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
