Keskiviikkona heräsimme taas pitkästä aikaa ankkuroinnista johtuvan epävarmasti nukutun yön jälkeen alla olevan kuvan tunnelmiin. Pakko sanoa, että Atlantic Islands kirjassa ei suotta mainostettu tämän paikan olevan kaiketi hienoin ankkurointipaikka koko Madeiralla. Minä harjasin veneemme vesirajaa jo tässä vaiheessa matkaamme sinne kertyneestä levästä. Vesi oli käsittämättömän kirkasta ja sinistä!

La Rochelle - Turku 2013. Tiistai 30. kesäkuuta 2015. Sääennusteet lupailevat seuraavaksi seitsemäksi päiväksi hellelukemia ja Saksa on tunnettu bratwursteistaan joten kaikki on kuulemma hyvin. Täytyy tässä kohtaa myöntää että kyllä tämä kolmen miehen kanssa purjehtiminen on ainoana naisena välillä hieman raskasta ;). Ruoaksi vaaditaan pääasiassa makkaraa. Sunnuntaina matkamme jatkui siis kohti Saksaa sateen saattelemana. Juho otti sateen urhoollisesti vastaan. Yövuorosta napsin kuvia Elbe joen suulta.

Ranta oli nimeltään Encuento ja sinne ajoi Puerto Platan Ocean World Marinasta noin tunnin. Ranta oli hieno ja surffaajia oli paljon. Osalla porukastamme surffi sujui haastavista olosuhteista huolimatta. Poikien kiteillessä me lähdimme S:n ja Arimon kanssa Monkey Jungle nimiseen paikkaan, jossa Arimo testasi ampumista.
