The Colonel's Forum: The war on common sense

http://jbforum.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-war-on-common-sense.html

Friday, March 20, 2015. The war on common sense. Allows him to divert attention from the facts surrounding the issue, namely:. Presidents don't control energy markets. There are actually 9,000 more coal miners working in the US today than the day Obama took office, they're just not working in Kentucky. Coal has been a dying industry in Kentucky for all 30 years that Mitch has been in office, so apparently the "war on coal" started with Reagan. Coal fired power plants actually do pollute the air. Is that ...

The Colonel's Forum: Is Mitch Really Helping Kentucky?

http://jbforum.blogspot.com/2014/11/is-mitch-really-helping-kentucky.html

Sunday, November 09, 2014. Is Mitch Really Helping Kentucky? Now that McConnell will be serving 36 years in the Senate, and the coming 6 as majority leader, I think it's reasonable to expect that he delivers the goods for Kentucky. I mean, a Senators #1 job is to serve his state, right? Can we at least agree on that? And the Commonwealth will be a distant 3rd if it's on his list at all. I was wrong once though, and it could feasibly happen again. How will we know? Turnabout is fair play? They want it bot...

Thursday, March 23, 2006. Sorry for the delay. Haven't posted in awhile. been pretty busy at work which is where I would usually take 5 and write my post. Scho Long: June 2006

http://scho-long.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Ahhh, the sweet sound of blogging. I'm not going to make a bunch of excuses of why I haven't blogged in awhile. Read Jenn's blog, that gives you enough info. Sitting on a conference call right now. probably don't need to be on since a couple times someone called my name, I couldn't figure out the mute button to turn it off, and then the question was answered by someone else. Why are they paying me? Posted by Justin at 9:01 AM. View my complete profile. Not a month yet.

Scho Long: December 2005

http://scho-long.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, December 29, 2005. I think spending that $80 might prove that I am smarter though. Christmas was a'ight this year. It seemed to go on forever which is a good thing. Jenn and I exchanged gifts on Wednesday evening the 21st since we were leaving for my parents on the 22nd. On the 23rd, we let my nephew open his gifts from us, on the 24th we had Christmas with my family, then on the 25th we had Christmas with Jenn's family. That's 5 different opening opportunities. http://jbforum.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 19, 2014. Those pesky poor people. Grabbed my attention last week. Among other things, it provides a historical perspective on a major topic in American politics today - rich versus poor, makers versus takers, the notion that all poor people (or a full 47% of the country, according to Romney) are freeloaders. Here's another spin. They just won two presidential elections by appealing to. the middle class who's getting screwed by. the 1% who fund the PACs that fund the GOP. About the staggering...

These guys have achieved national status with their tongue-and-cheek writing style. Like any opinion, you can't agree on everything with everyone all of the time. for the most part though, I've enjoyed reading these fellas articles enough to click on them when they popped up on my google searches.
