Last week I got an award at work. maybe my first award ever! I was not expecting the money. I would have been happy with a Certificate! So, to celebrate and use the money on something more than bills, Dan and I went to a nice dinner that evening at Ruth Chris at the Inner Harbor. It was a great way to finish off the day.

Gonzalez with a Z. Thursday, April 1, 2010. For both of my blog readers, I'm sorry for my lack of blogging as of late. I have not done a great job fitting in any non-essentials in our life. Good news in that we are all quite healthy and happy. Today the kids both had Easter parties at their preschool classes. I saw these cute cupcakes several weeks ago, and have been waiting for an occasion to make them. The Easter Party was the perfect occasion! Look at my cute helpers! Aren't the colors amazing!

Monday, August 3, 2009. Allison, the 2nd child in my family (just after me), got married last Saturday.a Benne first! She had her wedding ceremony in the Manhattan temple and then a beautiful reception at the Central Park Boathouse. Everything went so smoothly and it was fun spending the extra time with my family. Allison married Paul Stowell, a nice guy who also works in Manhattan. We recently found out that his mom's cousin taught my mom the gospel.small world! Experience moments of joy and beauty!
