Into the New World. Past YES Abroad Blogs. The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) is a full scholarship program that provides high school students the opportunity to spend one year in Germany. Offered through the Department of State, the purpose of this exchange program is to allow students to experience the German language and culture in an immersion environment. We went hiking in the Idaho panhandle. It was so peaceful. It’ s a Monday, and I’m sure many are staying indoors to avoid breathing the smoke.
