Thursday, July 30, 2015. 1st dose of Ritixumab. The process has OFFICIALLY started! Yesterday, I went to Mayo to have my first dose of Rituximab. We left the house at 5:00am (which was PAINFUL) but made it to Mayo at 7:00am for labs. See how happy we are to be awake? Benadryl is awesome. It makes me SO sleepy. Neither was he when he got to eat the leftovers :). The most exciting thing out the infusion was that I couldn't do dialysis last night. A night of FREEDOM! Unfortunately, I kinda need dialysis for...

I'm still thrilled, but now I'm READY for the next step. I was finally able to get in contact with my donor coordinator this week (she was out on vacation) and she's had a chance to speak with the transplant nephrologist regarding my labs, and it doesn't sound like they were very good. To catch a leprechaun. Izzy had to build a leprechaun trap for St. Patrick's day. We came up with a lot of great ideas, but settled on a trap that the leprechaun would fall into. Of course, we had to entice the leprechaun with lots of green and shiny things. Izzy also decided that leprechauns like orange, which explains the role of orange duct tape that she's cutting. We spent Wednesday night making class valentines. Not-so-smart me thought that these little origami fortune-tellers would be fun, and from the kids' perspective they were a hit! However, folding 24 of these and cramming them into envelopes that were clearly designed to fit as snugly as possible around the fortune teller was an exercise in patience ;). The Mitten - Izzy's first play. The first graders put on their very first play, and it was called "The Mitten". Izzy played the owl :). I have no idea what her lines were.she had a little case of the nerves and said them so fast that I couldn't understand them. Actually, this happened to most of the kids ;). Based off of my October labs, this makes sense, because I could go through the process of getting the Rituximab, but I'd just pee it all out. So, here's what the future looks like:. Söndag 27 januari 2013. Vad gör man i januari, februari, mars och april? Jo väntar och väntar. Jag upplever att efter julen är. Det är ju trots allt inte så att man är gravid titt som tätt heller. Min tid av väntan präglades av glass, godis, mat, mat, mat och ännu mera mat. Och givetvis var det under den här tiden jag upptäckte den underbara värld av shopping som finns för dessa små varelser. Tänk att ha en egen butik med en massa fina saker för fina små flickor och pojkar. Så vad väntar jag på nu då?

Torsdag, januari 20, 2011. Ren kur dag 10. Idag har det varit full fart. Först två möten på förmiddagen och sedan begravning (A´s farfar). Det var en jättefin begravning, där solen strålade in och man såg den klarblåa himlen. Eftersom det varit full rulle hela dagen har jag inte hunnit tänka på mat eller att jag är hungrig.förräns nu! Monday, 2 April 2018. Had an unplanned need to change everything around. And baked myself a crisp new look. Feels nice to be different from what I was before. Is almost like putting on a totally new outfit. Sunday, 1 April 2018. Lilla Lotta's Garden Flowers. Everything kind of changed. The colours I am surrounding myself with are much happier. I have this deep need to have lots of colour around me. Nothing feels the same anymore. My life has been on hold for 5 years. Where my entire life was not happening.
