An amateur snapper, with a digital 'box brownie'! Monday, 5 January 2009. This old sign on the brickwork caught my eye. Fading history.and all that. The building was closed, but the signage remained. The best fish and chip shop in town! This second hand bookshop is near the Eastbourne Town football ground. I didn't have time to pop inside, but next season I'm going to allow time to do so! An amateur snapper, with a digital 'box brownie'! Thursday, 12 March 2009. Two tourist spots, where people flock to. One in Brussels,Belgium; and another on London. Vastly overrated in my humble opinion. The first is the Manneken Pis. The other Piccadilly Circus. Why tourists love this spot so much I have no idea! An amateur snapper, with a digital 'box brownie'! Monday, 11 May 2009. Sunday 10th May 2009 saw me passing through Covent Garden. 34th annual May Fayre. Which also celebrated Mr. Punch's. This is the famous landmark, the 'Punch and Judy' pub,. Which cements the local 'puppet' connections. And here's the reason why:. The event was held in the churchyard of the 'Actors Church'. An amateur snapper, with a digital 'box brownie'! Tuesday, 5 May 2009. Some more snaps from the Belgian town of Aalst. Which I visited briefly for a few hours in November 2008. I can't recall what the buildings were though! This old pub sign was above a bar that hosted this club. So it said in the window, it was closed when I was passing! An amateur snapper, with a digital 'box brownie'! Saturday, 27 December 2008. Is seen as the classic example of a seaside town being "god's waiting room",. But it is a lot more than that. This is the town pier, I'm no expert, unlike these folk,. But to me it's is still one of the finest examples I've ever seen. I love it, even on the deserted winter Saturday lunchtime before christmas, when I took these snaps. I must make a point of returning in the summer. Friday, 26 December 2008. Carnival at the Museum.
