The Year I Learned There Are More Important Things Than School February 7, 2011. Filed under: Class reflections. Myself as curriculum maker. 8212; Jamie @ 11:01 am. It was that year that I learned, for the first time, that there are some things more important than school. February 7, 2011 at 12:08 pm. Sad but true. We of...

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Hard Goals vs Smart Goals. I'm attending the Saskatchewan Principal's Short Course and yesterday our first keynote, Gwen Keith spoke on "The Multiple Roles of the Principalship." One item of interest was an introduction to HARD goals. SMART goals are the ones I'm familiar with where the goal is:. Gwen mentioned that SMART goals are for management and HARD goals are for leadership. A HARD goal is:. Heartfelt (something you are passionate about). Required (necessary for survival).
