Leonard and Jen–cheers! I manage to get some skateboarding in which is a great way to see the streets of NYC. Me and Leonard, family reunion at the skateboard park. The Great American Road Trip. Sunday, June 15, 2008. Day 12 Austin, Texas. We did a marathon of a drive from the Grand Canyon to Austin–22 hours but I'm glad we did, it was a happening weekend. The Great American Road Trip. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Day 7–Santa Monica and Venice Beach. The weather is weird today in this beach town–the city is blanked in a white fog. We couldn't figure out whether it was fog of smog. We went and checked out the beach that's just a few blocks away. Palm trees completes the notion of being in California. The Great American Road Trip. Monday, June 9, 2008. Day 6 San Francisco to Los Angeles. We picked up Eugene and had brunch at Universal before heading to Valencia to check out some shops. I love the quirkiness of the shops here, a mix of hipster coffee shops, bars, antique shops, book stores and crafty art shops. The Great American Road Trip. Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Day 15 Graceland to Dollywood. We decided we needed a good breakfast at some ma and pa diner to really begin the day right. While we were looking for a place to eat we considered this place.for a sec. We found a local dinner for a little chicken, mash, corn bread and mac and cheese for breakfast.
