The Hungry Hedonist: April 2006
http://hungryhedonist.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 29, 2006. As I approach my last week of classes, I am seriously considering another trip down to the city, mainly to quell my desire for scones and muffins. The only thing holding me back is 3 finals, a project, and two papers. But I don't think I can concentrate if I didn't have my muffins. I wish someone could just cryovac them and send me some already! Wild Nova Scotia Lox w/ red onion, tomatoes, scallion cream cheese, and capers. 242 8th Ave Frnt. New York, NY 10011. Noooooooo! How can I miss this? | A Few Reservations
https://afewreservations.wordpress.com/2009/03/10/noooooooo-how-can-i-miss-this
March 10, 2009 · 2:40 pm. How can I miss this? Just read my Tablehopper. Newsletter, and saw this:. Wednesday March 18th is the next THREE ON FIVE BEVERAGE BATTLE AT FIFTH FLOOR. Just my luck, I’ll be in DC on the 18th, for one night only. So promise me, if you have the means, go. Support them so they’ll do more veggie stuff. I’m all stressed that it’ll flop because of the economy, but they’ll blame the vegetarians. Us animal-snugglers always get the stink-eye of suspicion in these matters. You are comme...

The Hungry Hedonist: July 2005
http://hungryhedonist.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 24, 2005. High Tea at the InterContinental Hong Kong. Greetings from Hong Kong. As undisciplined as I am, some things do warrant my blogging. The InterContinental, located right on the harbour with a grand view of the Hong Kong skyline, is easily one of my favorite hotels in the world. A view of Hong Kong harbour from the lobby. The high tea set. Three stories of yum. The top layer: pastries. Tel: 852 2721 1211, Fax: 852 2739 4546. Posted by Hungry Hedonist at 10:10 AM. Links to this post.

The Hungry Hedonist: August 2005
http://hungryhedonist.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 18, 2005. Marina Sub - San Francisco, CA. This is a medium! Verdict: Subs wins. Marina Sub is an awesome place in itself, and if I had never tried Subs, this would be my favorite sandwich place. I think the ambiance and memories evoked also contribute to my favoritism for Sub Center. San Francisco, CA 94123. Labels: San Francisco (Cont.). Posted by Hungry Hedonist at 2:26 AM. Ubuntu: Can I Get an Amen? | A Few Reservations
https://afewreservations.wordpress.com/2007/11/06/ubuntu-can-i-get-an-amen
A Half-A$ ed Post →. November 6, 2007 · 7:28 pm. Ubuntu: Can I Get an Amen? I’m so freakin’ happy about Ubuntu right now, I barely know where to begin. Truly. I’ve started this review two or three times already, and erased every previous attempt. To catch you up on the scuttlebutt, Ubuntu. In short, Ubuntu is a vegetarian epicure’s dream come true. I moved on to a Kohlrabi Soup, with raw Kohlrabi and its sprouts. (Cut to our lunch table, and me whispering, What the fuck is a Kohlrabi? The soup was nothin...

How can I miss this? March 3, 2009 · 6:42 pm. Hello, loyal friends. Just a quick missive today, to let you know I’m alive. I write from the snowy banks of the Charles River, where it is MOTHER FUCKING FREEZING. I think I forgot what real cold feels like. Thanks, Boston. Consider me schooled. Anyhoo, I had a lovely solo dinner at the bar of a place a friend of mine recommended: Oleana. Couldn’t resist a little Celtics love, since I’m in Bean Town and all.). Filed under Mid-range Meals. Mission Beach Café | A Few Reservations
https://afewreservations.wordpress.com/2008/08/13/mission-beach-cafe
Ubuntu rocks me. Again. August 13, 2008 · 6:36 pm. This one’s gonna be a toughie, friends. I want to rave about Mission Beach Café. I really do. For starters, I had a fantastic evening there. (But I suspect that had to do with the company.) And I have to give them huge props for offering a vegetarian entrée that. Literally, we wondered if they’d messed up the order and served us the same thing. And for both of them, the flavor was meh. Not bad, just meh. Totally. Was it worth eating again? Oh, man, I fee...
