I was having one of those days where you don't want to touch your wips. 1 ball of Caron simply soft quick (100% Acrylic/ 50 yd) in Blue Mint. 1 set of size US9 (5.5mm) double pointed needles. 2 buttons note: I used two different sizes. Darning needle, sewing needle and thread. Cast on 56 stitches and separate evenly onto 4 dpns (14 stitches on each needle). Work garter stitch for 4 rounds (knit one round, purl next round), ending on purl round.

Wednesday, August 12. Badiane Scarf to Crochet. The standard turning chains normally used in crochet have been elongated to form a loop edging along the sides of the scarf. I made my sample with Knit Picks Gloss Fingering weight yarn that was dyed by Jamie in a seaglass colorway. Fitting that she also named the scarf. LOL! Make the scarf as long or short as you like. Seam the ends together if you would rather have a cowl type scarf. I'm donating all proceeds from this pattern to the Mercy Corp. My Zipper...
