The Girl from the Bus. 039;And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.' -Anais Nin. We Are. I am. Elephant at the Sea. August 16, 2012. Wherever we were, we weren’t. As breath held in cupped hands. Still slipped through fingers that. Loosened in shape as toes curled. And eyes peered for themselves. What could have, could not have. Because the absence of an elephant. From the forms of cloud or painting. Sand or beach did not ever make him-.

March 22, 2013. If I run in my apartment, why not outside? I don’t like exercising in public. I don’t like exercising. I don’t have the right shoes. I’ll look dumb. I can’t. I can’t. I can’t. Sure you can. You’re running around your apartment in circles. Go run around the block. Just around the block. I can do it.

The Girl from the Bus. 039;And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.' -Anais Nin. We Are. I am. August 1, 2012. I seem to dream in days of moody lackadaising. Hazygazing through the stillness, running away. But from or toward, I can’t be sure of anything. I could be right, or I could be wise but I would. June | 2014 | Write Something

It doesn't matter what. Just write something. Month: June, 2014. June 16, 2014. Writing circle prompt: “He is too shy to open his mouth.”. See yourself picking up the phone. See yourself dialing. When he closes his eyes he sees it not in color, not in flesh, but in woodcuts. Like in his grandmother’s book of fairy tales the massive one, that needed an adult’s lap to support. The faces scraped too heavily from the grain of the block, the limbs always a bit too long. Follow Write Something on WordPress&#46...

It doesn't matter what. Just write something. Month: May, 2014. May 13, 2014. Yes You saw it coming. I saw it coming. And yet, it still happened. The number of things I have written? None None things.*. Well, this isn’t strictly true. I think I wrote three or four sentences on a series of fanfic prose-poems inspired by the Sherlock Holmes canon set in a mythical universe in which fauns are real and…. You know what, forget it. It doesn't matter what. Just write something. Month: February, 2014. February 25, 2014. Not Exactly What I Intended To Write. Today, I Wrote A Thing! And then my browser immediately ate it. https://writeathing.wordpress.com/2014/02/23/any-thing-yes-any-thing

It doesn't matter what. Just write something. Yes, ANY thing. For most of my life I have written prolifically. Journals, short stories, long stories, fanfiction, poetry, humorous asides, catalogs of tangentially related ideas or objects, chunks of dialogue between real or imaginary people, my own name or the alphabet over and over. Sometime last year, I stopped. These things usually have rules, and here are mine:. 1) Write a thing. This thing could be from a writing prompt, or it could be a chunk of a lo...

The Girl from the Mirror. Better do it yourself. Fashion is a state of mind. My way into fashion. Jysk my new obsession. I become quite interested in home decor, especially that now I found this store that it is similar with Ikea, it is called Jysk. The first time when I went I purchased some of my favorite things in my room now:. The fluffiest and softest blanket. Which is actually a bathroom rug. The second time I purchased just a candle. And a pillow case. What do you think? Do they compare with Ikea?

I am …. Moving to another country. October 4, 2016. October 4, 2016. In the early 1950s, my brother had moved to Wiesdorf Leverkusen, near Cologne as there was more work opportunity. He rode his bike the whole way. He did not have a job lined up but thought he would find one as he had finished his apprenticeship as a carpenter. He may have followed a friend. Oh for the adventurous spirit of youth! Four years later, my mother and I decided to follow so we could stay together as a family. October 3, 2016.
