I am …. Moving to another country. October 4, 2016. October 4, 2016. In the early 1950s, my brother had moved to Wiesdorf Leverkusen, near Cologne as there was more work opportunity. He rode his bike the whole way. He did not have a job lined up but thought he would find one as he had finished his apprenticeship as a carpenter. He may have followed a friend. Oh for the adventurous spirit of youth! Four years later, my mother and I decided to follow so we could stay together as a family. October 3, 2016.

Today our apartment was transformed into a little photo studio :). Maria from the Danish mother group needed some photos taken of her little daughter Alba. I think the result turned out nice.
