I spent months planning the decorations. Pinterest was my bff. We asked people to wear plaid just so it felt like we were lumberjacks…or camping. We were overwhelmed with how many of our family and friends could make it. After we counted there was 49 of us in our backyard! Our sweet son is 1! Monday, October 12, 2015.

A couple weekends ago we celebrated the end of harvest which means Darryl is finally home. Well he was that weekend anyway. I have gotten used to knowing what comes with being married to farmer. As long as the ground is not covered in snow there is still lots of work to be done! After the park we went to Boon Burger. Which is a vegan restaurant (my choice obviously)! Thanks for stopping by!

Hope from the Valley. LAMENTATIONS 3:21 AND 22. Friday, 27 March 2015. I feel like I start each post about Canaan's month birthdays the same- How is my baby this old already! Seven months, 211 (ish) days old and 27 weeks, where did the time go? He doesn't look like a baby to me anymore, and that makes my heart a little heavy. How did this tiny little human go from being a 8 lbs 14 oz bald wee babe to a 20 ish pound little man? Time just goes to quickly. Something's i've learned these past 7 months:.
