Wednesday, June 27, 2012. We had some rather unexpected company yesterday. My niece Nelly and her husband Peter. They came down from Rockwood to visit their daughter Emilie, who lives in Smitthfalls. The three of them took the 45 min trip to see us. Needless to say we enjoyed that very much. We did not even get a picture of Emilie :-(. Next time Emilie, that is if you care, which I doubt, hahaha! Thursday, May 21, 2009. Yvonne asked me to write down some of my stories, which would be lost eventually if I don't! Hit everybody those days. The year was 1936. And I was a cute 4 year old. My dad had lost his job, lost his house and he had moved in with moms parents, Grandma and grandpa Van den Brink. We lived all together in a small village called Lunteren. I danced back into the house. Later, knowledge of our financial systems tempered my joy. Oh Dad.this is amazing! Firstyour writing is flawless!
